We are delighted to announce the upcoming ‘Karmayogi Talks’ on Wednesday, 29 April at 9:30 AM, at the iGOT Karmayogi platform.

The episode will feature Ashwini Bhide, IAS, Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Managing Director of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, on ‘Infrastructure Leadership and the Road to Maharashtra 2047’ - a perspective on transformative infrastructure leadership for sustainable urban growth.

Smt. Ashwini Bhide is a senior IAS officer (1995 batch, Maharashtra cadre) with over 28 years of distinguished service in public administration. She has led several landmark urban infrastructure projects in Mumbai, including the Mumbai Coastal Road Project and Mumbai Metro Line-3. She has also played a pivotal role in strengthening governance systems, notably leading the COVID-19 Response War Room of BMC. Currently, she serves as Additional Chief Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, contributing to key sectors including urban development, infrastructure, and planning, and has been instrumental in shaping the Maharashtra Vision 2047 roadmap.

This session will offer valuable insights into how strategic infrastructure planning and effective public leadership are driving Maharashtra’s journey towards sustainable growth and urban transformation. The discussion will highlight the importance of integrated transport systems, resilient infrastructure, and efficient public service delivery in building future-ready cities and accelerating economic development.
