The episode will feature Ranveer Chandra, Vice President of Copilot Tuning, M365 Copilot, and CTO of Agri-Food at Microsoft, on ‘AI in Agriculture’ - Exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming agriculture through innovation, resilience, and smarter decision-making.

Ranveer Chandra is the Vice President of Copilot Tuning and CTO of Agri-Food at Microsoft, where he leads innovations at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and agriculture. A distinguished technologist, he has contributed to several widely adopted Microsoft products and holds over 125 patents. A Fellow of both ACM and IEEE, he has received multiple global recognitions for his contributions to research and innovation, including being named among America’s 50 Most Disruptive Innovators. He holds an undergraduate degree from IIT Kharagpur and a PhD from Cornell University.

This session will offer valuable insights into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in agriculture, including its potential to enhance productivity, optimise resource utilisation, and strengthen climate resilience. The discussion will highlight how emerging technologies can support data-driven decision-making and contribute to sustainable and inclusive agricultural growth in India.
