The episode will feature Nilesh Shah, Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company, on ‘The Role of Financial Markets in Nation Building’ - Strengthening economic foundations through efficient capital markets.
Nilesh Shah is Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company, where he has led his team to many recognitions, including Best Fund House of the Year. He serves as Part‑Time Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, Part‑Time Member of UIDAI, member of the Insurance Advisory Council and on AMFI’s Board among other policy committees. He is widely regarded as a capital markets thought leader.
This session will provide valuable insights into the role of robust, transparent, and inclusive financial markets in driving economic growth, mobilising capital for development, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The discussion will also underscore the importance of investor confidence, financial inclusion, and long-term capital formation in advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
